The R type Centerdrill is a combined drill and countersink, used where the most precise centering accuracy is required. The tip form features a curved contour to enable a single band of contact. This radial tip distributes forces evenly during drilling. The S Type Centerdrill is a dual-purpose drill used for the heaviest duty burnishing and chamfering applications where a more rigid setup is required. This drill has a 60° angle design, followed by an 82° angle flare making it a dual-purpose tool. Similar to our standard ST Type Centerdrill, these drills feature either a 90° or 100° angle design.
Single-End Thru-Tool Cooling (TTC) Drill
Single-End Cobalt drills now available with Thru-Tool Cooling (TTC). The TTC design offers superior cooling and chip removal characteristics to promote a longer tool life. They are available in ST Type 60°, R Type and B Type 60°/120° forms. Tool coatings available—please call for a quote.
